Old-Amsterdam bones — dark wood, an island bar, tile floor — given a careful 2025 refresh by the team behind De Druif. The fittings still read as a genuine brown café, but this is a relaunched kitchen of Dutch classics rather than the unbroken neighbourhood institution it was; the regulars are still finding their way back.
