For theatre and classics lovers, standing in the very place Greek tragedy and comedy were born is a real frisson, and it's included on the Acropolis ticket on the way up. The catch: it's quite ruined — carved marble thrones and partial tiers rather than an intact theatre — and is easy to undervalue if you don't know what you're looking at.
