Is Transbordador Aeri (Port Cable Car) worth it in a day?

DependsIn a day

Transbordador Aeri (Port Cable Car) is a real time commitment — fit it in only if it's a priority.

Allow 30–60 min (with queue).

The red 1929 gondola strung high over the working port is a genuinely thrilling, only-here crossing — port, sea and city all at once. But manage expectations on the practicals: it's now €12.50 one-way / €20 return for a ten-minute ride, there's no fast-track and the tower lifts are a real bottleneck, so queues at peak can run 45 minutes-plus for cabins that are old, small and standing-room-packed. Worth it once on a clear day if you treat the queue as part of the deal; a poor choice if you're short on time, claustrophobic, or afraid of heights.
