With kids, give Hamburger Bahnhof (Museum für Gegenwart) a miss.
The cavernous old station hall lets it show monumental contemporary work you can't fit anywhere else, with serious Warhol and Beuys holdings. The catch: it's contemporary art, full stop — divisive, sometimes baffling, and a wasted ticket if that's not your thing.
