For beauty & photography, Museum für Naturkunde (Natural History Museum) is hit or miss.
The towering Brachiosaurus in the central hall is a genuine wow, and it's one of the best family museums in the city. The catch: parts of the collection feel old-school and the building is mid-renovation in places, so it's not the slick, interactive science centre some families expect.
