The gilded dome is a beautiful landmark and the museum thoughtfully tells the story of Berlin's Jewish community and the building's survival of Kristallnacht. The catch: the synagogue was largely destroyed and only the front is restored — there's no grand interior nave to enter, so manage expectations.
