Solo, Topography of Terror works.
The exhibition is rigorous, unflinching and free, sitting on the actual ground where the Nazi terror apparatus was run, beside a surviving Wall segment. The catch: it's text- and photo-heavy with little 'object' drama, so it rewards readers and can feel exhausting to skim.
