On a sunny Sunday it's peak Berlin joy — bargain-hunting the flea market, beers on the grass, and hundreds of strangers cheering a stranger belting karaoke in the Bearpit. The catch: it only really comes alive Sundays in warm months, gets mobbed and littered, and on a cold or rainy day it's just a bald, graffitied field.
