Even on a tight schedule, JFK Presidential Library & Museum earns the hours.
Allow 2-3 hours.
A thoughtfully designed, emotionally resonant museum — the recreated 1960s campaign rooms, the Pei architecture, and the harbor-front glass pavilion make it more affecting than expected. The catch: it's out in Dorchester and a bit of a trek by transit, the subject matter is narrow if you're not into mid-century politics, and it's a half-day for a single president.
