A genuinely strong, sprawling science museum — the Theater of Electricity's giant Van de Graaff lightning show is a standout and there's enough to fill most of a day with curious kids. The catch: it's huge and can feel dated in spots, the planetarium and IMAX cost extra, and it skews young.
