Is View Boston (Prudential Tower) worth it as a couple?
Worth itAs a couple
As a couple, View Boston (Prudential Tower) works.
The best single panorama in the city — from roughly 750 feet you read the whole peninsula at once: the Back Bay grid laid out like a circuit board, the Charles curling toward Cambridge, the harbor islands beyond. The 2023 rebuild added a glassed-in cloud-level lounge, a 3D scale model of the city, and an open-air roof deck, so it's more of a sit-and-linger hour than the old quick elevator-up, elevator-down. The catch: at ~$36 it's a pricey peek that goes flat on a hazy or gray day, and once you've taken the photos there's little to actually do up there.
View Boston opened June 15, 2023 across the 50th-52nd floors of the Prudential Tower, nearly 750 feet up, with an open-air 'Cloud Terrace' roof deck. · wbur.org
General admission starts at $34.99, with higher-priced packages that skip the line and add retail/dining credits. · cbsnews.com
