Far more compelling than 'a cemetery' sounds — the guided tours are superb storytelling of Irish history through the people buried here, anchored by the O'Connell round tower. The honest catch: it's north of the centre and the experience really depends on taking a tour; wandering alone, it's just a vast graveyard.
