With kids, give Cliffs of Moher Day-Trip a miss.
The cliffs themselves are jaw-dropping and the rugged Burren scenery en route is a real bonus on a clear day. The honest catch: it's a punishing 3+ hours each way by coach for maybe 90 minutes at the cliffs, and Atlantic fog or rain can erase the view entirely — a genuine gamble.
