Even on a tight schedule, Museo Galileo earns the hours.
Allow 1–1.5 hours.
A genuinely different lens on Florence: beautiful antique scientific instruments, two of Galileo's surviving telescopes, and surprisingly engaging displays, with almost no queue. The catch: it's a niche pull for the science-minded and underwhelms visitors set purely on art. A refreshing, uncrowded change of pace beside the Uffizi.
