Even on a tight schedule, Príncipe Real earns the hours.

Where in-the-know Lisbon spends a relaxed day — a garden square under a giant cedar, independent boutiques, antique fairs and some of the city's best restaurants and brunch. The catch: there's no headline 'sight', it's quietly expensive, and a steep walk from downtown. Pure neighbourhood pleasure for slow travellers.
