For beauty & photography, Tower of London is hit or miss.
A genuinely dense slab of history — executions, prisoners, the Crown Jewels glinting on a moving walkway. The Beefeater tours are funny and excellent. The catch: it's expensive, the jewels queue can crawl, and peak summer is a crush.
