A small, dark, close-range room where the guitar, the cante and the heel-stamping land almost in your lap — the bar against which every other Madrid tablao is measured. Founded 1956, it has hosted the great names for seven decades. You can do the standard show-and-drink, the show-with-dinner, or book the eight-seat Michelin-starred gastronomic room separately; choose deliberately, because the cheap-seat version is a different night from the front row.
