Is Haulover Beach Park worth it for nature lovers?

For nature & scenery, Haulover Beach Park is hit or miss.
A wide, less-developed, locals' beach with good waves, kite-flying, and a famous (clearly signposted) nude section at the north end. The catch: it requires a car and parking fee, has fewer amenities than South Beach, and the clothing-optional area is something families should be aware of when choosing where to set up.
