For nature & scenery, South Pointe Park is hit or miss.
One of the best free spots in Miami — a breezy pier, a quieter beach, lush landscaping, and front-row views of cruise ships gliding out of Government Cut. The catch: it's at the far southern end so it's a walk or drive from central South Beach, and the pier gets busy at sunset.
