For nature & scenery, Miami Beach Boardwalk is hit or miss.
Best understood as one thing done well: a Deco-and-dunes morning. Start at sunrise from South Beach, ocean on one side and pastel Deco backs on the other, and walk, jog, or bike north before the heat — it's free, flat, and genuinely lovely in that window. The catch is that it's a one-trick path: long, repetitive, and shadeless, so outside early morning or evening it's brutal at midday, and there's little reason to be on it once the sun is up.
