Radio City Music Hall Stage Door Tour is a real time commitment — fit it in only if it's a priority.
Allow 75 min.
A 75-minute walk through the largest indoor theater in the world — and the genuine payoff isn't the Rockette meet-and-greet but the room itself: the great sunburst proscenium arch sweeping out over 5,960 seats, the Deco lounges, and a look at the hydraulic stage elevators that raise whole sets and orchestras. If you love Art Deco design or theater history, it's a real behind-the-curtain wow; if you don't, you'll find it scripted and most visitors are perfectly happy admiring the marquee from outside for free. Worth the ~$36 mainly for the Deco and the stage machinery, not the photo with a Rockette.
