A glamorous green peninsula of billionaire villas, fringed by a superb free coastal footpath (sentier littoral) through pine and turquoise coves, anchored by the rose-pink Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and its themed gardens. The catch: the villa is pricey, and getting around the cap relies on patchy buses or a fair bit of walking.
