As a couple, Èze Village works.
The most dramatic of the perched villages — a tangle of medieval stone lanes spiralling up to the Jardin Exotique, where the cliff-edge view straight down to the Mediterranean is genuinely breathtaking and best caught in the soft early light. The catch: it's tiny and almost wholly given over to galleries and perfume-shop tourism, and chokes with coach groups by late morning, so arriving early is the difference between magic and a crush.
