A pine-shaded loop trail up a headland with knockout views over both the Baie des Anges and Villefranche bay, plus a 19th-century fort. The reward is real and it's free, but it's a proper uphill effort, exposed in patches, and you need decent shoes — this is a hike, not a stroll.
