Is Le Petit Train Touristique worth it in a day?

DependsIn a day

Le Petit Train Touristique is a real time commitment — fit it in only if it's a priority.

Allow 45 min.

An unashamedly touristy little road-train (the long-running Trains Touristiques de Nice) on a ~45-minute Promenade-and-old-town loop whose single genuinely useful trick is that it carries you up to the Castle Hill viewpoint without the stair climb. Be honest about who it's for: it's a real win for small children, tired feet, and grandparents who can't manage the steps or the lift queue — and a bit naff for anyone who can simply walk up via the free Rauba Capeu lift.
