A full 2011–2014 rebuild reorganised the park into five geographic biozones that abandon traditional categorisation in favour of authentic ecosystems — animals in landscapes, not enclosures.
Purpose-built for kids — large naturalistic enclosures, well-cared-for animals and hands-on workshops including breakfast with the giraffes.
“ideal for a family outing where kids can see around one thousand animals and participate in fun workshops like 'Up Close and Personal with an animal' or 'Breakfast with the giraffes'”
The biozone design and the towering Grand Rocher give you animals against landscaped backdrops rather than bars — a far more photogenic zoo than most.

First-timers
A modern, well-organised park that doubles as a green escape into the Bois de Vincennes — set aside roughly half a day and pair it with the surrounding park.
“if you need a day outside with the kids, this is good for a couple hours max”
