This is the local's antidote to the castle — green ramparts, the Slavín cemetery where Dvořák and Mucha rest, and a calm panorama over the Vltava bend, mostly free and rarely crowded. The catch: it's a 15-minute metro-plus-walk from the centre and there's no single 'wow' building, so checklist travellers may feel it's 'just a park'. For everyone else it's the most underrated hour in Prague.
