A compact, low-key enclave around the Peace Pagoda and an indoor mall packed with Japanese bookshops, stationery, ramen and izakaya — a relaxed, tasty, very local browse. The catch: it's small and somewhat mall-centric, and it's a graze-and-shop stop rather than a sight.
