Solo, Vlychada Beach works.
The most photogenic of the swimming beaches, thanks to the pumice cliffs eroded into smooth, alien shapes behind the sand. It's calmer and more local-feeling than Perissa or Kamari, with a few good tavernas and a small marina. The catch is fewer amenities and the same scorching black sand. A connoisseur's beach pick.
