For nature & scenery, Ueno Park & Zoo is hit or miss.
One green space gives you the national museums, a pond of lotus, a busy old zoo with pandas, and in early April the city's most famous (and most packed) hanami. It's a do-everything hub more than a beauty spot — outside cherry season the park itself is pleasant but unremarkable.
