A loud, gloriously tacky assault of neon floats, taiko drummers, dancers and (fewer) robots in the old Robot Restaurant venue — pure sensory chaos that knows exactly how silly it is. The honest catch most write-ups miss: the original Robot Restaurant's famous evening spectacle is gone. It closed in the pandemic and the successor 'Samurai Restaurant' reopened in 2023 running only daytime shows (roughly 10:50am, 2pm and 4:30pm), with more dance-and-sword routines and fewer giant robots. Book it as the campy daytime show it actually is, not the late-night legend.
