The ritual is the magic: salt-throwing, stomping, and bouts that last seconds inside a stadium that builds all day to the top division. The catch is timing and access — Tokyo tournaments run only in January, May and September, good seats sell out, and the early hours feature unknown wrestlers in a half-empty hall.
