For anime, manga, retro gaming and gadget fans it's nirvana: floors of figures, claw machines, multi-storey arcades and the whole otaku subculture on display. For everyone else it can read as garish and consumerist, the maid-café scene feels like a tourist gimmick, and it's sensory overload fast.
