Two faces in one walk: the candy-coloured teen chaos of Takeshita-dori (crepes, cosplay, claustrophobic crowds) and the tree-lined luxury boulevard of Omotesandō a block away. Takeshita-dori is a crush and more tame than its reputation now, but the contrast and people-watching are the draw.
