Pollock, Picasso, Ernst and Calder hung in the heiress's own low white palazzo, with a sculpture garden and a sun terrace right on the Grand Canal — a perfectly sized, un-exhausting dose of 20th-century art in a city of Old Masters. The catch: it's compact for the ~€18 ticket, gets surprisingly busy, and won't satisfy anyone hunting deep classical Venice.
