The most authentic neighborhood scene in central DC — a Saturday-morning blueberry-buckwheat pancake at the food hall, then the outdoor arts and flea stalls. The catch: it's really a weekend experience (much quieter midweek), and it's small — more a pleasant couple of hours than a half-day.
